Bacchus

Gold Coast Charter Boat BACCHUS is a luxury 62 foot thoroughbred amongst other charter boats.
It is available for private cruise on the Gold Coast Broadwater – one of the world’s most magnificent waterways. Bacchus can accommodate 47 day passengers.

It is the perfect boat for corporate functions, birthdays, weddings, bucks and hens party cruises. It has a full kitchen with oven and microwave to enable an enjoyable meal onboard. Facilities include an ice machine, onboard sound system and a new floating mat to enable swimming off the back of the boat. There are four separate gathering/sitting areas including the flybridge, the cockpit, interior and the bow of the boat for enjoying a sunset champagne or a spot of sun-bathing.

The vast fore deck has recently been refitted into a sun lounge with seats – great for outside cruising in the Gold Coast sun or to relax in at night.

On board MV Bacchus, we’re equipped with large TVs and an expert sound system that can be used to make your next presentation one to remember in a relaxing and stylish atmosphere. We can help to meet your needs, budget and other bespoke corporate preferences.

Weddings & Engagements – What better way is there to marry the love of your life than aboard our luxurious MV Bacchus with your closest family and friends? Say “I do” on the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater in a ceremony and relish in your reception totally tailored to your wishes. Book in advance to secure your special date. We can also cater for engagement parties and anniversary celebrations.

Capacity

Can carry up to 47 day guests. For maximum comfort 35 guests is preferred.

Price

$750/hr for <25 guests
$800/hr for 25 – 34 guests
$850/hr for 35 – 47 guests

For a bucks party or if the number of guests is 25 – 34, an extra Crew cost is payable at $50 per hour. If the number of guests is 35-47, an extra Crew cost is payable at $100 per hour.

Deposit is $850

During public holidays, there is a 30% surcharge on the cruise fee.

Food

BYO your own food, BBQ free to use on the boat, BYO everything you need ( eg, plastic plates, etc) or we can supply plates, glasses and cutlery.
Organize any caterer of your own choice.
Choose from our Recommended Caterers
We can do the following catering for you:
(a) Cheese Platter – to serve 10-12 people $135
Enjoy a selection of gourmet cheeses, dips, fruits, nuts and crackers
(b) Hot Nibbles Platter – to serve 10-12 people $135
A variety of small, hot pastries such as party pies and sausage rolls, tiropitas, spinach/cheese filled pastry bites, meatballs etc. Dipping sauces provided.
(c) Loaded Wedges Platter – to serve 10-12 people $50
A heaping plate of piping hot potato wedges loaded with cheese, sweet chilli sauce, sour cream and garnished with herbs.

Drinks

BYO drinks. Ice and water will be supplied. Fridge and ice boxes supplied. (No red wine and no spirit bottles allowed. Pre-mixed spirits in bottles or cans are ok).
Alcohol Collection from Dan Murphy’s Southport – $50. Save time and effort by pre-ordering and we will collect your order and safely store it in our locked storeroom so it is chilled and ready for your cruise
